Serbian International Science Festival provides research and knowledge institutions throughout Serbia an opportunity to participate and provide general public with an insight into what they do, conveying the important role that science and research play in everyday life. The whole Festival is essential to initiate and offer strong national and international partnerships between institutions, public and commercial sector in promoting scientific research and has an on-going commitment of bringing and presenting talent from all over the world whose ideas and work are reshaping world science community.

In that sense we would like to invite your organization or institution to participate in the program of Eight Serbian Science Festival 2014 which will take place in Belgrade from Thursday December 4th to Sunday December 7th .

So far we were proud to enjoy presentations and have as our guests colleagues from Les Atomes Crochus, Lund University Sweden, National Museum of Natural Sciences Madrid, City of Arts and Science Valencia, Cognitive Science Department Paris, National Museum of Science and Technology Stockholm, Science made Simple, University of Lugano, Science et Cite foundation, Thailand Science Society, Forensic Futures Education Group USA, AHAA Center, Guinot de 8 from Barcelona, Croatia Chemistry Society, House of miracles from Budapest and many, many others.

All events, program, lectures and exhibitions during the Science Festival each year take place in Belgrade. Belgrade, the capital of the Republic of Serbia, is the third largest city in South-eastern Europe, after Istanbul and Athens. With population of over 1 700 000 people, it is also a city of youth since more than 40% of its citizens are between 15 and 44 years of age. The city lies upon the Danube River, the aquatic route connecting the countries of the Western and Middle Europe to the countries on the East. Due to its position it was rightfully named “Gates of the Balkans”. Belgrade can be easily reached by plane with direct flights from almost every major European city. All four venues where the Science Festival takes place are located in the very hearth of the city within walking distance from each other as well as most hotels, restaurants and the pedestrian district.

Eight International Science Festival 2014 will take place in Belgrade from Thursday December  4th to Sunday December 7h.
